Week 5 - Elsie and Chloe

 Dear parents

in Year 6, we task students with the opportunity to become bloggers.  Through this they are learning to put together and edit information to upload to the classroom blog, giving ownership and autonomy over the task.  All students will be given at least one opportunity across the year to work with a partner to complete the class blog.

Lulu: Yes, I am going to Perth!

Elsie: What for?

Lulu: I am going to Crown!!

Elsie: Why are you going to Crown?

Lulu: It’s a late Chrissy present!!!!

Elsie: Can I hide in your suitcase?

Lulu: Hahahahaha NO

  K AY A, Wow-wee! Term 3 has really been a whirlwind, and we are not even close to finishing yet.  Firstly, well done to the superb talent at OLC's Got Talent on Friday! Well done to the Arts team who assisted with running the event! Next week, we will hope to welcome you all to the classroom for Learning Journey on Wednesday and then we have the massive OLC Sports Carnival on Friday! We will be praying for blue skies! 💙💚💛💓  Peace Poster: We have been blown away by the student's efforts on their Peace Poster this year. The posters will be available for viewing in the hall during Learning Journey, so don't forget to pay a stop to the hall. The students and staff from OLC will start voting for the peace poster winner this week. Week 9 & 10 of Term 1

  K AY A, Can you believe that we have less than two weeks until the end of term 1? Congratulations, to all those students who completed their Year 4 Eucharist this morning. What a beautiful ceremony held at the church. It was nice to see so many of our Year 6 leaders, either celebrating this occasion with their families, playing in the school band or singing and supporting. 🙌 Our Learning: Seesaw  - Please log in to your child's seesaw account so that you can start to see some of their assessments displayed. The students have already posted a Reading activity, will be posting a Math assessment this week and a Religion one in the coming weeks.
