Well, we are almost there....only two weeks to go, but wow are they busy!! We have lots of practice and preparation for both the Christmas concert and the graduation, our excursion and lots to finish in class!!  Artist Incursion - Rebecca Cool  As part of OLC's Strategic Plan to increase opportunities for Visual Arts experiences across the school, the P&F have organised local artist, Rebecca Cool, to work with all classes in the school this week.  Rebecca is a great local artist and hopefully some of my excitement to meet her will be shared by the students (I have her book!!).   Rebecca will do a lesson with each class, with our lesson scheduled for Tuesday, 29th November at 8:40 to 9.40am.  Graduation Practice and Year 6 Busy Bee  Our first graduation practice went well on Friday, we set out with two goals: 1. Find our seats for the ceremony at the church.  2. Work on our entrance to the ceremony. Well done to the Year 6 group, we left the church having achieved both of these

This week, those students who will be attending either Bunbury Grammar or MacKillop next year will be attending their orientation days. These days will provide students with a snippet of high school life.  Hopefully the work we have been doing on high school preparedness will assist the students with the coming challenges. Graduation Practice and Year 6 Busy Bee  This Friday, the Year 6 students will have their first graduation practice at the church, followed by living out our service as we help out some of the parish community at the church busy bee . The students will need to wear their sport uniform, have a hat, wear sunscreen and bring a packed recess and lunch and water. Math Club  A massive well done to all the students who attended Math Club this year on Wednesday afternoons. You are to be commended for your dedication and resilience to your learning and

Week 5

What a fabulous swim carnival we had on Friday.  I was so proud of the way that all year 6's helped out with the organisation on the day and encouraged others.  The leadership shown was just wonderful.  I was also so proud of the resilience shown.  So many year 6's pushed themselves even though they were nervous or not feeling well.  So many Year 6's picked themselves up, told themselves to have a go and not only got on with the task, but worked so very hard!  Way to go Year 6's!! Important - Graduation PowerPoint  I am are hoping that if you haven't done so already, you can find and email me a photo of your child  as a baby and and a photo of your child in Kindy . We would like to create a PowerPoint for Graduation with these special photos, as well as others from their time at OLC. If you have any ripper photos from your child's time at OLC, we would greatly appreciate any donations. Please email them through so I can get onto this job as soon as I can. Term 4
